Senior Research and Development Engineer
About The Position
Carry out specific assigned R & D projects by organizing, prioritizing, and facilitating the effective usage of both human and materials resources for the areas of powder product development (ferrous materials, specialized additives and coating technology, new applications). Plan, execute and interpret experiments to complete research deliverables. Interface with customers, suppliers, marketing, and manufacturing departments to realize program goals. Manage assigned work force, recognize personal strengths, and recommend potential improvements. Become the in-house expert/consultant to other departments in the areas of metal powder.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Materials Science or engineering related field.
- 3+ years of work experience preferred.
- Demonstrates flexibility, initiative and proactive leadership.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred Masters/PHD.
- Experience in particulate materials, metallurgy, powder process and product engineering preferred.
