About The Position

COLSA Corporation is seeking a Senior Research/Data Analyst to support the KC-46 program office in Dayton, Ohio. The role performs analyst functions including gathering information, modeling data, testing projects, and creating performance measurements that support project objectives. The analyst works with USAF operating and maintenance data, develops models and computer programs to evaluate and predict aircraft parameter performance, and communicates findings using visualizations and written and verbal reporting.

Requirements

• Knowledge of quantitative techniques and methods used to develop, adapt, modify, and apply models to resolve problems or define and clarify alternative solutions.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, negotiate complex issues, and maintain good working relations.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from various USAF operating systems, identify positive and negative trends, and report detailed information using graphs, charts, and spreadsheets as required.
• Examine and validate USAF maintenance data, including G081, the Program Depot Maintenance Scheduling System (PDMSS), and the Logistics Evaluation Assurance Program (LEAP), to ensure it produces meaningful information.
• Collaborate and coordinate with USAF organizations to improve the accuracy of data inputs and support desired outcomes.
• Independently develop mathematical models and computer programs to evaluate and predict aircraft parameter performance.
• Participate in study teams; originate ideas, projects, and methodologies; and execute projects or studies within established financial and time constraints.
• Design, build, and communicate findings using visualization techniques.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing, negotiate complex issues, and maintain good working relations.
