About The Position

Riverside Insights is seeking a Research Coordinator to serve as the operational engine for their expanding research studies. This role involves recruiting participants, ensuring study compliance, and contributing to the evidence base for their assessments. It is a hands-on, detail-driven position offering ownership early in a research career. The Research Coordinator will be the primary contact for participants, manage IRB submissions and consent documentation, and contribute to research summaries. The role requires collaboration with the Research team, Customer Success, and Marketing, balancing operational rigor with the ability to translate findings into usable resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating research projects or studies, including participant recruitment and communication.
  • Working knowledge of IRB processes and human subjects research ethics, or the ability to learn them quickly.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to track multiple concurrent studies and deliverables.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with participants, customers, and cross-functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with data collection and basic analysis tools.
  • Interest in psychometrics, assessment development, or K-12 and clinical research.
  • A detail-oriented, proactive approach to compliance and administrative tracking.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit research participants and build/maintain a pipeline.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for study participants.
  • Manage IRB compliance, including submissions, renewals, and consent documentation.
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics of applied research studies.
  • Support scheduling, data collection, and participant follow-up.
  • Contribute to research outputs and summaries that translate study findings into validity evidence.
  • Administer participant incentives, tracking eligibility and processing disbursements.
  • Conduct literature reviews for R&D initiatives.
  • Contribute to conference submissions, presentations, and knowledge-sharing resources.
  • Assist with user acceptability testing and quality control processes for assessments.
