The Research Coordinator II will be responsible for coordinating and implementing all components of assigned research studies. This includes participant recruitment, community outreach, enrollment, and retention strategies. The role involves managing study materials, conducting eligibility screenings, scheduling visits, administering questionnaires, and overseeing study logistics such as purchasing, timeline tracking, and monitoring protocol deviations. The coordinator will ensure adherence to study protocols, maintain data quality through standard operating procedures, and manage data entry, storage, and verification using both paper and electronic records. Quality assurance tasks, assistance with regulatory documentation (IRB submissions, sponsor reports, study registration), and maintaining laboratory safety and compliance with regulations are also key responsibilities. The position requires maintaining relevant trainings, research space, files, equipment, and software licenses, as well as fostering collaborative relationships with project leaders and personnel across sites, including grant partners in schools. Auditable records of study activities must be maintained. Additionally, the role involves supporting principal investigators in study workflows and project management, determining timelines, delegating assignments, and coordinating research staff, students, and volunteers. Organizing and leading team meetings to monitor study progress is expected. The position also oversees the development and maintenance of study and center websites and social media, supports stakeholder engagement, and collaborates on planning and execution of study, project, and center events.
