FamilySearch International is seeking four Research Consultants to provide world-class genealogical research assistance to patrons of the FamilySearch Library. This role involves instructing on Family History in class settings and conferences, and assisting with other functions of the FamilySearch Library. The FamilySearch Library is the world's largest genealogical library, serving thousands of patrons annually to help them discover their family story, connect with ancestors, and add well-researched names to the family tree of humanity. Researchers in this role are key to enabling these discoveries by acting on inspiration, engendering trust, exemplifying kindness, seeking to be effective, and creating simplicity for those they serve, even when it presents challenges. Research team members must possess high energy and a strong personal commitment to serving patrons first and delivering with the highest levels of professional integrity. This role requires flexibility, problem-solving skills, and customer service in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. The team works hard to create a fun and rewarding environment. This role requires a minimum of 4 days per week in the FamilySearch Library and will require regular evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
