About The Position

Under the direction of the Research Integrity Officer, the Research Compliance Auditor is responsible for assisting the RIO with the implementation of the Research Compliance Program. The Research Compliance Auditor is responsible for conducting regular research compliance auditing and monitoring activities, providing research compliance education and training, assisting with the investigation of research compliance issues, and maintaining Office of Research Compliance (ORC) documentation. This role will focus on research billing compliance, auditing grant management, and adherence to research billing regulations. Works at a high level within the organization; requires strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy practices; and has the authority to review all documents and other information that are relevant to research compliance activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field, or significant/applicable college coursework that demonstrates competency.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in a research regulatory setting with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • Experience includes research billing and/or grant management.
  • Experience with research billing auditing processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Scientific, Laboratory Animal Science, or related field.
  • Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC) by Compliance Certification Board (CCB) or equivalent.
  • Experience or knowledge in clinical research.
  • Experience or knowledge in animal research.
  • Experience or knowledge in IBC regulations.
  • Experience or knowledge in project management.
