About The Position
The Research Associate will support Professor Benjamin Fung in conducting research related to data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.
Requirements
- PhD in Computer Science, Information Science, or Engineering.
- A minimum of five peer-reviewed publications in data mining, machine learning, AI, or cybersecurity.
- At least two years of professional experience in data mining, machine learning, AI, or cybersecurity; postdoctoral research experience is also applicable.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Must be willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
- English communication both verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive literature reviews in the fields of data mining, machine learning, AI, and cybersecurity.
- Assist Professor Fung in reviewing research publications.
- Provide guidance to graduate students involved in research projects.
