Research Associate

UNC-Chapel Hill•Chapel Hill, NC

About The Position

The Research Associate supports the collection, organization, analysis, and management of clinical and research data generated through the Center for Generative Immunotherapy (CGI). Working with scientists, clinicians, and research teams, the role helps process and maintain patient information, laboratory results, genomic data, immune profiling data, and other research-related information. The Research Associate helps ensure data are accurate, complete, organized, and readily available to support research and clinical studies. The position contributes to developing and maintaining standardized data analysis processes, databases, and reporting tools for clinical trials and translational research. It assists with data quality reviews, data integration, and routine analyses supporting biological marker identification, evaluation of patient responses to therapy, optimization of personalized cancer vaccines, and assessment of immune responses to investigational treatments. The role helps manage and analyze clinical, molecular, and laboratory data so investigators can monitor studies, evaluate treatment outcomes, make informed decisions, and produce high-quality data for scientific discovery, regulatory requirements, and future clinical advancements. It also supports consistent collection, secure storage, and effective sharing of data across clinical trials and research programs. The Research Associate interfaces with computational scientists, immunologists, clinical investigators, data scientists, and research and administrative staff.
