Research Associate - CBP Del Rio Lab

University of Kansas Medical Center•Kansas City, MO
•$25 - $36

About The Position

A full-time Research Associate position in Dr. Del Rio’s laboratory supports an NIH-funded R01 project investigating the neural mechanisms underlying cardiorespiratory regulation. The Research Associate independently conducts and supports experiments to define neuronal activity and neural mechanisms involved in cardiorespiratory regulation. Work involves advanced in vivo and ex vivo/in situ experimental approaches, quantitative data analysis, troubleshooting experimental procedures, and contributing to the interpretation and dissemination of research findings. The research takes place in modern laboratory space equipped with state-of-the-art systems for integrative physiology, neural recordings, and fiber photometry, within the collaborative research environment of the University of Kansas Medical Center. The position is full time and fixed term.
