About The Position
Support formulation and drug product process development for biologic molecules intended for toxicology studies and early-stage clinical trials, including First-in-Human (FIH) studies. The position is based in Foster City, California, and is a long-term contract with the possibility of extension. The stated pay rate is $39.85 per hour on W2.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with 0+ years of experience; or a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2+ years of industrial experience in biologics CMC development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute laboratory experiments supporting biologic formulation, drug product manufacturing processes, molecular assessment, and clinical in-use evaluations.
- Operate analytical instruments such as HPLC, UV-Vis, CE-SDS, and icIEF.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, identify inconsistencies, and communicate findings.
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, protocols, reports, and other scientific documentation.
- Present experimental results and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Follow laboratory safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement and scientific innovation.
