About The Position

Morgan Stanley's Institutional Consulting Solutions (ICS) business, part of Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Client Segments, offers consulting services to institutional investors. The Fiduciary Consulting Group (FCG) within ICS provides specialized investment consulting and fiduciary solutions to institutional clients across the US and Canada, including corporations, government entities, and non-profit organizations. FCG assists retirement plan sponsors, 529 plans, endowments, foundations, and trusts, operating under a documented fiduciary status. The FCG research team is responsible for defining the ICS FCG investment policy and supporting research in collaboration with the Wealth Management Global Investment Office (GIO). This role focuses on investment due diligence, analysis, reporting to institutional clients, client-facing coordination, and client project development and management.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Approximately 5-10 years of previous experience in a similar role within the investment research or consulting industry
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working directly with clients and producing client-facing research or investment deliverables
  • Experience with Bloomberg, eVestment, and/or Morningstar Direct preferred
  • Experience with AI- and AI-related integrations
  • Desire to progress toward the CFA designation (if not already attained)
