About The Position

This is a grant-funded, non-tenure track position through 05/05/27. Funding must be available for any continuation of appointment. The research associate position will support and engage in ongoing research activities at the Louisiana State University AgCenter, focusing on biomass, nanomaterials, composites, and bio-based coating technology. The successful candidate will be housed in the School of Renewable Natural Resources (this position is not eligible for remote work) at Louisiana State University.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Material Science, Polymer Chemistry, or closely related discipline.
  • Experience of working with cellulose nanomaterial, rheology, and coatings.
  • Evidence of quantitative skills and experience in technical writing.
  • Proven ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
