About The Position

Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and gene therapy, is looking for a “Research Associate III” based in Tucson, AZ. This is a long-term contract position with the possibility of extension. The pay rate is $34/hr on W2. The role is responsible for conducting research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experimentation and other scientific activities to support Ventana projects. The associate will exercise technical expertise and discretion in the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project strategies. Responsibilities include preparing technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses, and presenting and discussing results within the department and project team. The role requires maintaining a high level of professional expertise through familiarity with scientific literature and potentially participating in conferences and professional societies. Adherence to company policies and procedures for GMP, GLP, Design Control, and others as appropriate is expected. Maintaining complete and accurate laboratory documentation and electronic files is crucial. The associate may act as a principal investigator in conducting their own experiments.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Establishes interfaces across other organizational groups.
  • Troubleshoots problems and institutes corrective action.
  • Prepares and presents experimental procedures and results in group and project teams.
