About The Position

Comagine Health’s Research and Evaluation Team is looking for a thoughtful and passionate individual to join our team as a Research Associate II. This role is a part of the Research and Evaluation Team, managing and implementing research studies and evaluation projects. We are looking for someone with experience in applied research and expertise in program implementation and evaluation. If you are interested in informing public health program improvement, we’d love to have you join our team! The person in this role must be based in the Portland, Oregon or surrounding suburbs. It requires on-site work from time to time.

Requirements

  • BA / BS in a related field.
  • Experience in managing research and/or evaluation projects in an academic, community, or government setting.
  • Strong understanding of research and evaluation design and methods and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in managing research and/or evaluation projects

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Demonstrated experience and skill in word processing, basic spreadsheet, and presentation software applications; familiarity with database software programs (Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands, priorities, and timelines
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects, work under deadlines, and produce error free products
  • Demonstrated ability to work with both internal and external partners in a team environment
  • Effective task management and coordination skills

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software such as SPSS, SAS, R, or equivalent.
  • Experience with quantitative analysis and reporting and experience with implementation and program evaluation preferred
  • Experience with qualitative analysis and reporting required

Responsibilities

  • Performs standardized research and evaluation activities with minimal oversight, including developing project materials and supporting dissemination
  • Performs standardized support tasks for research and evaluation activities, including organizing project materials, taking meeting minutes, and keeping logs of compliance related documents
  • Contributes to analysis and reporting with minimal oversight; may include quantitative and qualitative data and data visualization techniques
  • Serves as task lead or project manager, including maintaining project plan, timeline, and deliverable schedule
  • Conducts (and may lead some aspects of) data collection, which could include surveys, interviews, field observations, site visits and focus groups
