The Research Associate 2 will assist in Dr. Daniel Kuroda’s lab, investigating molecular structure and mechanisms that give rise to macroscopic properties of bulk electrolytes. The role involves characterizing electrolytes using spectroscopic methods, including infrared ultrafast spectroscopy, and electrochemical methods, including electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and cyclic voltammetry. The Research Associate will collaborate with theoreticians to obtain molecular insights into experimental results. The position also involves preparing and characterizing materials, modeling, developing projects, proposing new ideas, writing manuscripts, and supporting proposal writing and project reports. Other duties may be assigned.
