About The Position

This is a new position for a Research Assistant within the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Criminology, under the supervision of Steven Bittle and Jon Frauley. The role is for the 2026 Fall Semester and involves conducting bibliographic research, producing annotated bibliographies, completing templates, participating in project meetings, and performing descriptive analysis. The total work hours are 120, with an hourly rate of $33.83 for undergraduate students and $53.31 for graduate students. The academic year runs from September 1 to August 31. The language of work is English and French. All university employees must complete mandatory legislated training. The hiring process is governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.
