About The Position

Arisa Health is seeking candidates to fill a Research Assistant position. The Research Assistant will support implementation of a PCORI-funded research study at a community-based clinic, that is overseen and monitored by a research team at the Johns Hopkins University. Under the direction of the Site Research Coordinator, the Research Assistant will assist with participant recruitment, enrollment, data collection, study documentation, and follow-up activities. This position will work closely with patients, clinic staff, and the research team to ensure study procedures are carried out accurately, respectfully, and in accordance with standardized and approved research protocols. Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, behavioral services, or related field is required
  • Comfortable interacting with diverse patient populations in a clinical and community-based setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work effectively independently and with team members
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in clinical research, community-based research, healthcare, or social services
  • Recruiting or working with participants in a clinic or community setting
  • Familiarity with REDCap or other electronic data capture systems
  • Knowledge of human subjects protections and informed consent procedures
  • Experience working with underserved or historically underrepresented populations.
