Research Assistant
About The Position
The Biggs Institute for Alzheimer’s and Neurodegenerative Diseases is looking to hire a research assistant to aid with biobanking and molecular biology techniques. Under general supervision, the candidate will provide routine technical assistance in assigned and delegated tasks in support of research projects in a BSL-2 laboratory setting. Responsibilities include assisting or conducting a variety of scientific experiments and research projects of limited complexity, as well as collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data for clinical and diagnostic neurodegeneration research.
Requirements
- Experience with biobanking and molecular biology techniques.
- Ability to work in a BSL-2 laboratory setting.
- Experience collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data.
Nice To Haves
- Previous BSL-2 lab experience is a plus.
