About The Position

The Wistar Institute has an opening for a highly motivated Research Assistant to work in the laboratory of Dr. Christopher McGinnis as part of the Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center (VIC) at The Wistar Institute. The McGinnis lab is interested in how tumors interact with the immune system during metastasis and developing new single-cell genomics modalities to interrogate mechanisms of pro-metastatic immune remodeling. Focusing on breast cancer, osteosarcoma, and other tumor types with lung metastatic tropism, the McGinnis Lab aims to improve our basic understanding of how tumors spread and translate these insights into the development of anti-metastatic immunotherapies.
