About The Position

The Research Assistant will support faculty in Public and Ecosystem Health with research, applied practice, and teaching activities. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a range of academic and professional projects while gaining experience in research support, project coordination, and public health education. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a collaborative academic environment.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in public health or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications and willingness to learn new tools as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews and assist with gathering, organizing, and synthesizing relevant information.
  • Compile research, teaching, and project materials and develop summary reports and other written materials.
  • Assist with meeting coordination, scheduling, agendas, and follow-up activities.
  • Support planning and coordination of events, presentations, and other faculty activities.
  • Assist with course planning, organization, and management, including preparation of instructional materials.
  • Provide general administrative and project support as assigned.
