About The Position

The Research Assistant will support faculty in Public and Ecosystem Health with research, applied practice, and teaching activities. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a range of academic and professional projects while gaining experience in research support, project coordination, and public health education. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a collaborative academic environment.

Requirements

Master’s degree in public health or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with standard computer applications and willingness to learn new tools as needed.

Responsibilities

Conduct literature reviews and assist with gathering, organizing, and synthesizing relevant information.
Compile research, teaching, and project materials and develop summary reports and other written materials.
Assist with meeting coordination, scheduling, agendas, and follow-up activities.
Support planning and coordination of events, presentations, and other faculty activities.
Assist with course planning, organization, and management, including preparation of instructional materials.
Provide general administrative and project support as assigned.
