About The Position

The Sweetman Lab in the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management is seeking a research technician to assist with a project examining the effects of tebufenozide exposure and hydrological drying on aquatic insect communities in vernal pond systems. Responsibilities include slide-mounting chironomid wings, imaging specimens, and conducting morphometric measurements using ImageJ. The position is 32 hours/week for the summer and is ideal for candidates with experience in entomology, ecology, or microscopy-based lab work. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
