This role will assist the Growing Up Today and Nurses’ Health Study 3 teams with preparing participant-facing materials, IRB applications, amendments, and continuing reviews for newly launching studies. The position will liaise with investigators and the Channing Division of Network Medicine IRB teams to complete and submit IRB applications and continuing reviews, and facilitate communications with the IRB.

Requirements

  • Must have knowledge of epidemiologic research protocols as well as good general written and verbal skills.
  • High degree of communication skills and ability to speak professionally on the telephone with participants, researchers, and clinicians.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and in a timely fashion.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of the job is necessary.
  • Needs the ability to relate and work well with individuals from various backgrounds and fields of expertise.
  • Must have experience with computers and word processing skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on IRB applications and preparing questionnaires and participant-facing materials preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with investigators and the CDNM IRB coordinator, developing and submitting new IRB protocols and participant-facing materials for the Growing Up Today Study and Nurses’ Health Study 3.
  • Work with investigators and the CDNM IRB coordinator, submitting continuing reviews for existing IRB protocols for the Growing Up Today Study and Nurses’ Health Study 3.
  • Meet with investigators, IRB coordinator, IRB review members, and Dr. Jaime Hart to develop materials and coordinate submissions.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned, including assisting with general office procedures and participant relations for the Growing Up Today Study and Nurses’ Health Study 3.
