About The Position

This is a Research Assistant position within the Faculty of Social Sciences, School of International Development and Global Studies. The role is for the 2026 Fall Semester, with a work start date of September 1, 2026, and an end date of September 28, 2026. The total work hours are 38.5. The hourly rate depends on student status: $32.84 for undergraduate students and $51.75 for graduate students (rates for Sept. 2025 - Aug. 2026, excluding vacation and statutory pay). The language of work is English. The hiring process is governed by the CUPE 2626 collective agreement.

Requirements

• Undergraduate studies at UOttawa, preferably at the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS)

Responsibilities

• Assistance with the creation of a special issue.
