About The Position
Temporary Research Assistant to be hired in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. This position is grant-funded; employment is contingent upon the continued availability of those funds.
Requirements
- Minimum of a PhD or Doctorate in Microbiology.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Carries out culturing of malaria parasites
- Generates recombinant plasmids for transfection
- Carries out transfection of malaria parasites
- Conducts phenotypic analyses of transfected parasites
- Assists in general laboratory maintenance
