About The Position

Performs various support functions in a research laboratory using proper procedures to avoid the risk of laboratory-acquired infection or sample-to-sample contamination. Maintains and cleans equipment and the facility; maintains and restocks supplies; and maintains a computer database. Works under direct supervision. Attention to detail is essential while dealing with multiple tasks. Flexibility is important in adjusting to frequent changes in work volume. This is a temporary 1-year position.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma with coursework in mathematics and relevant sciences.
• Must have previous work experience that demonstrates organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task.
• Requires manual dexterity, accurate typing, and good communication skills.
• Must be able to prioritize and adjust to changes in work volume.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Excel software is preferred.
