About The Position

Under the supervision of the Chief of MR Rad Imaging Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, the candidate will be responsible for data entry and maintaining the research database, MR imaging (MRI) data analysis, consenting and scheduling patients for research MRI studies, retrieving clinical data from electronic medical records, handling IRB regulatory issues, supporting manuscript and grant development, and other research activities as assigned by the supervisor. This role involves learning and using software tools for MRI data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in science and/or engineering field
• 1 year of relevant experience in research

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge in statistics preferred

Responsibilities

• Data entry and maintaining research data base.
• Consenting, scheduling, and accompanying patients for research MRI studies.
• Retrieving clinical data from research subject’s electronic medical records.
• Dealing with IRB regulatory issues.
• Supporting manuscript and grant development, and submission.
• Other research activities as assigned by the supervisor.
• Learn and use software tools for MRI data analysis.
