About The Position

This position is for a Research Assistant within the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology and Anthropology. The role involves desk research, literature review, summarizing findings, and data analysis. The work is to be performed at the Main Campus for the Spring/Summer 2026 semester, with a start date of July 10, 2026, and an end date of August 31, 2026. The total work hours are 64.

Requirements

• Must be a student in one of the following programs: anthropology, sociology, interdisciplinary studies, psychology.
• Must be familiar or have strong interests in research on social inequalities and African or diasporic contexts.
• Native or bilingual fluency (C2) in both English and French is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing remote collaborative platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Outlook) and managing independent workloads.
