The Research Assistant will work with Dr. Vikram Khurana and Dr. Julie Price on collaborative studies at Massachusetts General Brigham, Harvard Medical School. Our group investigates alterations in brain function, structure, and molecular pathology in normal aging, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and Down Syndrome. Our multi-modal imaging datasets include positron emission tomography (PET) imaging and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) datasets. This position requires data analysis skills to perform data management duties for neuroimaging datasets, to help develop and test neuroimaging methods needed to achieve research project completion. The candidate will provide high level neuroimaging support and develop tools to further automate laboratory processes and analyses. The position provides assistance to the Principal Investigator and Study Team in coordinating research activities that may include conducting a variety of routine experiments with established methodologies, data collection and management, and other research activities as assigned. Candidates who are in the process of completing their bachelor's degree have a grace period of six months from their hire date (up to 1 year if starting per diem) to provide degree equivalency verification.
