About The Position

As a Research Assistant, you will perform routine clinical research activities under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator, Research Nurse Clinician, and Research Specialist. Your work contributes to the accurate and ethical execution of research protocols. You will collect and organize research data, ensure it is accurate and complete, and report it as requested by the research team. Success in this role requires attention to detail, adherence to research protocols, strong organizational skills, and strict confidentiality.

Requirements

• High school diploma and related college or certification coursework.
• Previous experience in a health care setting.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree.
• Previous clinical research experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Assist with scheduling patients within required protocol windows.
• Obtain and process specimens under the direction of the research nurse or coordinator.
• Follow established protocols for the safe packing and shipping of hazardous materials.
• Ensure study supplies are available and adequate.
• Provide appropriate internal and external customer service through professional interactions with sponsors, study monitors, and other departments.
• Collect, organize, and report research data accurately and completely.
