About The Position
Duke University is seeking a part-time Research Assistant to support hands-on laboratory research. This role involves working closely with an in-lab supervisor to assist with experiments and learn practical skills in molecular biology, microbiology, synthetic biology, and basic lab automation. The position includes participation in daily lab activities such as attending meetings, communicating with team members, and maintaining detailed lab notes. With guidance and mentorship, the Research Assistant will develop independence and gain valuable research experience. This position is on-site and performed in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities
