Temple University's College of Liberal Arts Psychology and Neuroscience Department is searching for a Research Assistant. This position is primarily assisting with a NIH grant-funded project that uses fMRI to examine age-related differences in social and economic reward processing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate interest in decision neuroscience and aging, strong motivation, work ethic, and organizational skills. Flexibility in scheduling during some weekend and evening hours is required. Experience with fMRI data collection and analysis is preferred but can be learned on the job and will be weighed against other important qualities. This is an ideal position for a candidate looking to gain additional research experience before applying to graduate or medical school. The research associate will be an integral member of this scientific team and will have opportunities to earn authorship on publications and present posters at scientific meetings and conferences.
