Research Assistant I
About The Position
The individual will be responsible for helping the study team oversee music lessons, gather and enter practice sheet data, help with data collection and data cleaning and supporting the music trainers. The Mind Research Network is a division of Lovelace dedicated to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and brain injury. Headquartered in Albuquerque, New Mexico, MRN consists of an interdisciplinary association of scientists located at universities, national laboratories and research centers around the world and is focused on imaging technology and its emergence as an integral element of neuroscience investigation. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, or pursuing a degree in a related field
- Experience and interest in neuroscience, clinical psychology, and/or neuroimaging
- Current experience in neuroimaging and MEG data collection
- Comfortable working with children in the 8-16 year age range
- Willing to work within a team to ensure study success
