About The Position

This is a project about sexually transmitted infection testing in the Division of Adolescent Medicine. The Research Assistant performs semi-independent research experiments reliably and reproducibly in accordance with protocols approved by the principal investigator. They collect and curate raw data, maintain accurate daily logs of clinical trials, including methods and results, and draw preliminary conclusions. The role also involves maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies, ensuring research equipment is in good working order, and following all appropriate clinic safety protocols and other regulatory requirements. The Research Assistant assists the principal investigators in the preparation of scientific publications, grant proposals, and presentations.
