Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience, including sample preparation, data analysis, pipetting, solution preparation, dilutions, weighing, centrifugation, documentation, and reporting.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience using benchtop and microwave digestion methods for ICP-MS analysis.
- Minimum of 1 year of analytical instrumentation experience, including GC-MS, SPME-GC-MS, ICP-MS, and related laboratory instrumentation.
- Experience performing routine instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage competing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining chemical and equipment inventories
- Handling chemical waste in accordance with proper disposal procedures
