About The Position
This Research Associate (RA) position will be a one-year position at 0.8 FTE, starting in September 2026. It will involve isolation of natural products. Specifically, the work will involve the following: Purification and NMR structural characterization of natural products. Familiarity with analytical and organic chemistry. Investigation of biosynthetic pathways using bioinformatic, genetic, and chemical techniques.
Requirements
- A Ph.D. in Chemistry, Natural Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry and/or Molecular Biology
- At least 5 years of postdoctoral experience in natural products research
- Experience in microbiology
- Experience in purification and structural characterization of organic molecules using mass spectrometry and NMR
- A strong publication record
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities
