Daily Bread Food Bank's mission is to collaborate with all to eliminate food insecurity and advocate for solutions to end poverty. Daily Bread distributes fresh and shelf-stable food and fresh-cooked meals to 132 member agencies and 207 food programs across Toronto, serving over 4 million client visits each year. Daily Bread also advocates with all levels of government to tackle the root causes of poverty and publishes the influential Who’s Hungry report—the most comprehensive annual study of food insecurity in Toronto. Alongside this mission-driven work, Daily Bread is committed to creating a workplace where people are supported, fairly compensated, and empowered to do meaningful, high-impact work. The Research Analyst plays a vital role in supporting this mission by coordinating and conducting qualitative, quantitative, and secondary research to understand the root causes of food insecurity and the impacts of government policies on our food bank clients. In this role, you will coordinate and deliver key data and research products while identifying and effectively communicating notable trends, inequities, and emerging issues, including for our annual Who’s Hungry initiative.
