About The Position

Equilar is recruiting entry-level Research Analysts to start full-time in March 2027. Analysts join the Research team and, through the Research Rotation Program, may pursue career development paths in other departments after their first year. The role is based in Redwood City, California, and is hybrid, with employees required to work in the office Monday through Thursday. During the first year, analysts build knowledge of executive compensation, corporate governance, and data management, along with technical skills such as Excel and SQL and professional skills such as communication and career management. The primary focus is building industry knowledge and collecting executive compensation and corporate governance data by reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing SEC filings. The resulting insights may contribute to content reports, blogs, and data-driven projects, while supporting the accuracy and quality of Equilar’s database. Data areas include executive and board compensation, equity, management, financial, and governance information. After the first year, employees further develop their careers through the Rotation Program and specialized training programs for each track.
