About The Position

The Research Analyst at Hogan Assessment Systems primarily assists the Data Science (DS) team by supporting data requests, providing quality assurance, maintaining research infrastructure, conducting client research, and helping develop new assessment products. The role suits someone interested in applied research who can learn quickly, complete work accurately under tight deadlines, think critically, and suggest new approaches to projects. The position requires minimal travel (less than 5%). Applicants must reside in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, or Wisconsin. Requirements

• Currently possess a bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.
• Have experience with Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrate strong technical writing skills.
• Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail.
• Have an interest in personality and psychology.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of research methodologies.
• Possess expertise with Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel, and Access.
• Possess expertise with SPSS and other statistical software packages, such as R.
• Have experience with data visualization tools, such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Have experience with databases.

Responsibilities

• Support client and internal data requests in alignment with best practices.
• Clean and consolidate data.
• Perform literature reviews and prepare summaries.
• Audit content management and other Data Science infrastructure systems.
• Write case studies.
• Assist with presenting statistical results.
• Proof technical documentation and presentations.
• Support quality assurance initiatives, including inspecting syntax for errors and reviewing code for accuracy.
• Assist with tasks assigned by Data Science team members and other Hogan employees as needed.
