About The Position

NRC Health helps healthcare organizations understand the people they serve and turn that understanding into meaningful action. The Research Analyst manages multiple projects, develops reporting deliverables, and conducts data analysis using SQL, Excel, statistical analysis software, and proprietary tools. The role produces established and recurring custom reports for customers, investigates data discrepancies, and draws conclusions from data findings. It also supports a strong customer experience by educating internal and external customers on guidelines, background, and best practices, communicating complex statistical concepts and processes to stakeholders, and helping customers apply basic performance improvement techniques.

This position may allow work from home, but candidates must live in Lincoln, Nebraska, or surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Technical background with an analytical mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Degree preference in social sciences, applied statistics, or another research-oriented field.
• SQL experience preferred.
• Tableau experience preferred.
• Snowflake experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and develop reporting deliverables.

• Produce established and recurring custom reports for customers.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies.
• Analyze data and determine conclusions based on findings.
• Assist internal and external customers with education on guidelines, background, and best practices.
• Communicate complex statistical knowledge and processes to stakeholders.
• Help customers apply basic performance improvement techniques.
