About The Position
The Department of Medicine at the University of Miami is hiring a full-time Research Analyst 1 to work onsite on the UHealth campus. The role prepares data, conducts statistical analyses, and summarizes results for a variety of research projects. The analyst also helps turn conclusions and recommendations into actionable findings and supports reporting, proposals, and presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
- Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data and interpret research findings.
- Identify appropriate data sources for analyses.
- Verify the accuracy and internal consistency of reports, including required state and federal reports.
- Prepare technical documentation, tabular and written reports, and oral presentations.
- Complete surveys and reports, discipline-specific accreditation materials, and admission and grant proposals.
- Provide feedback and assistance in refining conclusions and recommendations into actionable findings.
- Follow University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
- Perform other duties or responsibilities as necessary.
