About The Position

The Department of Medicine at the University of Miami is hiring a full-time Research Analyst 1 to work onsite on the UHealth campus. The role prepares data, conducts statistical analysis, and summarizes results for a variety of research projects. The Research Analyst analyzes data and interprets research findings, identifies appropriate data sources, verifies the accuracy and internal consistency of reports, and prepares technical documentation and tabular and written reports. The position also gives oral presentations, completes surveys and reports, and contributes to discipline-specific accreditation, admissions, and grant proposals. The analyst provides feedback and assistance in refining conclusions and recommendations into actionable findings, while following University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguarding University assets. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.

Responsibilities

Analyze data and interpret research findings.
Identify appropriate data sources to conduct and execute analyses.
Verify the accuracy and internal consistency of reports, including required state and federal reports.
Ensure proper technical documentation and prepare tabular and written reports; give oral presentations.
Complete surveys and reports, discipline-specific accreditation, and admission and grant proposals.
Provide feedback and assistance in honing conclusions and recommendations into actionable findings.
Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
Perform other duties or responsibilities as necessary.
