About The Position
We are looking for a REROLL OPERATOR to join our Greencastle, PA plant. As a Reroll Machine Operator with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management.
Requirements
- Great work ethic.
- Driver’s License
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
Nice To Haves
- Certification on forklift operation (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Operates annular roll end equipment to reform ends of HEL-COR pipe
- Assists HEL-COR Operator in performing diameter changes, coil changes/splices, and mill re-tooling (mill change over).
- Operates overhead crane, coil buggy or forklift to assist in coil changes.
- Inspects rolled ends for defects and that it meets specifications.
- When necessary, trims end of pipe using cutting torch or other metal cutting method to ensure ends are straight.
- Helps to ensure that all finished products meet CONTECH quality standard.
