About The Position

JP Logistics & Consulting, LLC (JPLC) is seeking a full-time Requirements Logistician III to support the United States Coast Guard (USCG) in Elizabeth City, NC. This role involves managing the analysis, development, and implementation of requirements for various divisions within CG-AIR. The position requires collaboration with personnel from CG-AIR and other commands, conducting market research, preparing requisition packages, and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. The logistician will also be responsible for tracking action items, reviewing deliverables, managing multiple tasks, drafting various documents, and developing plans to improve operations and support long-term planning.

Requirements

  • Be citizens of the U.S.
  • Possess the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess knowledge and ability to perform simple arithmetic.
  • Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Possess excellent ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
  • Possess the ability to work with minimal Government oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Independently manage the analysis, development, and implementation of requirements for various divisions within CG-AIR.
  • Collaborate with CG-AIR personnel and other commands to identify requirements.
  • Conduct market research and plan projects.
  • Prepare requisition packages, including SOW, Performance Work Statements, or Objectives, and other acquisition documents.
  • Ensure requisition packages comply with regulations, policies, and audit requirements.
  • Track action items, update customers on project status, and manage acquisition information.
  • Review deliverables for technical accuracy.
  • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, create schedules, and develop plans and milestones.
  • Draft correspondence, reports, white papers, meeting minutes, spreadsheets, briefs, and other documentation as needed.
  • Develop methods, plans, and documents to streamline procedures, improve operations, reduce costs, and support long-term planning for effective program/project results.
