Requirements Analyst
About The Position
The Requirements Analyst will help shape how the Army delivers digital solutions that matter. This role involves joining an Agile, forward-leaning team building applications and systems that directly support urgent missions, from modernization to readiness to enterprise transformation. The analyst will drive clarity by partnering closely with architects, developers, testers, and mission stakeholders to uncover nuanced user needs, turn them into actionable user stories, and ensure every capability delivered moves the mission forward. The role requires applying the discipline of requirements management and traceability reflected in frameworks, ensuring specifications stay tight, aligned, and grounded in real operational value. This position is for individuals who excel at diving into details, translating complexity into clarity, and enabling teams to ship features with purpose, making an impact by supporting national security.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and management
- Experience working with stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements and translate them for technical teams
- Experience using task management software such as Jira
- Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience in software development, DevOps, AI/ML, or IT
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting the Army National Guard, NGB CIO/G‑6, or similar DoD organizations
- Experience creating Jira dashboards, roadmaps, and dependency maps
- Possession of excellent problem-solving skills
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Scrum Master or Agile Certification
