About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Requirements Analysis Lead for a cybersecurity support program. This role offers a strong next step in your career for individuals passionate about managing requirements to help ensure the success of a large cybersecurity organization. As a Requirements Analysis Lead, you will be helping to maintain and continually improve the customer’s requirements management process. You'll also provide detailed requirement analysis support to help gather, analyze, validate, de-duplicate, and help adjudicate requirements coming into the cybersecurity organization. You’ll get the chance to collaborate closely with experienced cybersecurity experts and customer leadership to help improve the overall success of the entire requirement management process. You’ll be joining Parsons’ local Analytics & Engineering team, a community known for its strong culture of defensive cyber operations, technical excellence, and collaboration. Requirements

  • TS/SCI clearance current/active
  • 8+ years of relevant requirements experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, business, systems analysis, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience managing requirements across the full lifecycle, including elicitation, analysis, validation, prioritization, approval, traceability, change control, and verification.
  • Experience working with cybersecurity, information technology, intelligence, defense, or other complex technical programs.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and working groups with technical experts, Government stakeholders, leadership, and customers.
  • Strong analytical, writing, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, stakeholders, and competing requirements.
  • Experience using requirements-management, workflow, ticketing, database, or collaboration tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Air Force, intelligence community, or federal cybersecurity missions.
  • Experience with systems engineering or requirements frameworks, such as: INCOSE practices, Agile or Scrum, DevSecOps, Capability-based planning, Mission engineering, Model-based systems engineering
  • Experience developing requirements traceability matrices, capability maps, process models, data models, or operational views.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, IBM DOORS, Jama, Polarion, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, or equivalent platforms.
  • Certification such as Certified Systems Engineering Professional, PMI Professional in Business Analysis, Certified Scrum Product Owner, or equivalent.
  • Experience developing requirements metrics, quality-assurance criteria, dashboards, and executive-level briefings.
  • Experience leading process-improvement initiatives or organizational change.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve the customer’s requirements-management process.
  • Establish and maintain requirements-management procedures, templates, workflows, standards, and best practices.
  • Receive, organize, categorize, and analyze requirements submitted by cybersecurity stakeholders.
  • Facilitate requirements elicitation sessions, interviews, working groups, and stakeholder reviews.
  • Analyze requirements for clarity, completeness, consistency, feasibility, priority, risk, and alignment with mission objectives.
  • Identify and resolve duplicate, conflicting, ambiguous, obsolete, or unverifiable requirements.
  • Support the adjudication and prioritization of competing requirements in coordination with customer leadership and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain requirements traceability from mission needs through implementation, validation, and acceptance.
  • Ensure requirements are written in a clear, concise, measurable, and testable manner.
  • Maintain requirements repositories, databases, dashboards, and supporting documentation.
  • Track requirements status, ownership, dependencies, decisions, changes, and approval history.
  • Support requirements change control, impact analysis, configuration management, and baseline management.
  • Develop reports, briefings, metrics, and recommendations for Government and program leadership.
  • Identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities to improve requirements quality and organizational efficiency.
  • Coordinate across technical, operational, acquisition, and leadership stakeholders to promote shared understanding and timely decision-making.
  • Mentor analysts and help establish consistent requirements-engineering practices across the organization.
