About The Position

Parsons is seeking a Requirements Engineer with a strong focus on Technical Assurance to support the Gateway Hudson Tunnel Project. The role supports the end-to-end lifecycle of project requirements, ensuring that system, safety, and operational requirements are clearly defined, traceable, and verified and validated through design, construction, and commissioning. The position contributes to delivery of a safe, reliable, and regulatory-compliant tunnel system. The Gateway Program is a set of rail investments intended to improve commuter and intercity services, add resiliency, and eventually create capacity between Newark, New Jersey, and New York City. Its first phase, the Hudson Tunnel Project, includes construction of a new two-track tunnel beneath the Hudson River connecting to Penn Station New York and full rehabilitation of the existing North River Tunnel. The Gateway Development Commission is responsible for financing and developing the Hudson Tunnel Project. The Requirement Manager supports requirements management and technical assurance across a multidisciplinary infrastructure project, coordinating with design, systems, construction, and testing teams and supporting compliance with regulatory requirements, agreements, contracts, and industry standards. No security clearance is required.
