About The Position

Amcor Flexibles’ Converter and Distribution plant in Mankato, Minnesota, is hiring a Repro Operator/Material Handler for its production department. This role supports the day-to-day functions of the reprocessing line, with the main function being operation of the repro machine. The position is full-time on second shift, Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Starting pay is $22.99 per hour, plus a $1.75 shift differential. Overtime may be available. The work takes place in a high-paced, stressful, extremely warm environment. Employees regularly stand for long periods, use their hands to handle objects, tools, and controls, reach, and lift or move up to 35 pounds. The role also involves stooping, bending, and climbing ladders to multiple levels. Required PPE includes a bump cap, safety eyewear or prescription safety eyewear, safety shoes, and hearing protection.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of previous forklift experience.
Ability to work well independently or in a team environment and deliver results in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Ability to regularly stand for long periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Ability to use required PPE, including a bump cap, safety eyewear or prescription safety eyewear, safety shoes, and hearing protection.

Responsibilities

Operate the repro machine.
Operate the stretch wrapper and lifting equipment.
