About The Position

Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registration Representative to join their Registration Department at the Ontario location. This role is responsible for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and individuals undergoing hospital-based outpatient testing or procedures. The representative will collect patient information, ensure patients are aware of hospital policies, interview incoming patients or their representatives, enter required admission data into the computer database, and distribute relevant information to ancillary departments. The position also involves participation in performance improvement and CQI activities.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
Previous experience dealing with customers.

Responsibilities

Arranges for the efficient and orderly admission of inpatients and admission of individuals who have hospital based outpatient testing or procedures.
Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of hospital policies and procedures.
Interviews incoming patient or representatives and enters information required for admission into computer database.
Distributes appropriate information to ancillary departments.
Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.
