In this role, you will provide essential support to ensure the smooth processing of new life insurance applications and policies. Requirements

  • The product and system restrictions for when application details are missing or hard to read
  • Ability to de-escalate agent issues and handle accordingly
  • Ability to properly identify and sort complex firm/agent submitted completed application documents
  • Expertise in identifying unique agent/firm/payment relationship connections
  • Ability to use internally maintained systems and databases
  • Ability to identify correct external firm and internal sales partners

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, actuarial science, or a related field preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in processing or customer service type work preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the processing and customer service of new life insurance applications, including data entry, document verification, and agent calls.
  • Communicates with clients and agents to gather necessary information and resolve any application issues.
  • Maintains accurate records and update internal systems with application status and client information.
  • Collaborates with underwriters and other team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of applications.
  • Provides exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and providing updates on application status.
  • Assists with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
  • Participates in training sessions and team huddles to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in team meetings and Lean continuous improvement initiatives.
  • May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
